About a year ago, a female Rottweiler was spotted in Lake County on an area called Fruit land Park.
She had been living on her own and afraid of every single human she saw. She had been terrible abused. Poor baby.
A wonderful lady contacted us and tried to catch her without success.
Then, our dear friends of Lake County Animal Control got involved, placed traps and finally got her.
Right away we were advised.
She was spayed, fully vaccinated and had all the things done she needed to get adopted.
At that time, she was so scared that NO ONE, BUT NO ONE, could even think on adopting her.
Once again a miracle happened, our dear friends Bill and Christy Clark, GRC members and Christy being part of the Board Directors of GGARR, offered to Foster this dog they have named Roxane >Roxy<. The Clarks had already adopted two dogs from GGARR, Jake and Justice.
To gain the trust of Roxy they needed an Act of Congress, and we all know how that works.
Well, Christy called last week and told me, "Yoly, Roxy is not going any other place but here, this is her home. She mailed me the Adoption Contract.
So now, she is Roxy Clark.
Oh, one more thing, they are coming to Oktoberfest with Jake, Justice and Roxy and all three of them will be in The Parade of Rescue.
Christy will send Grace and me new pictures of Roxy for her Happy Ending web page.
Thank you Christy and Bill for all you have done for our less fortunate Rottie kids.
One more HUGE Happy Ending.
Thank you God.
