He was named Rex and he was in Pasco County shelter ready to be put down. Got emails on him, very pretty, very friendly. Elisa Romero and Diana Alcazar went to see him and had my OK to pull him.
He was very sick with kennel cough and respiratory infection and eye infection that could be Entropion.
Elisa kept him overnight at her home, but we needed a foster home for his recuperation.
In the meantime, last December I received an application of a family in Port St. Lucie who wanted to adopt Alfie, great Vet ref and The Durbins did their home check and found them a wonderful family with 2 dogs and 2 children, but the husband had to have emergency back surgery and they told me at that moment they could not adopt, but to please, keep their app on file.
By the magic of the facebook, Elisa was looking for a foster home and they answered the call.
Now, they were ready to foster him.
Elisa drove Rex half and they drove half and now Rex is being fostered by the Snyder family.
Tiffany Snyder called me yesterday and told she has found a Vet that was offering a certificate of neuter and rabies shot for $45.00 and they bought it.
Rex has been taken to her vet as he was pretty sick, but he is HW negative, thank God. He is now on antibiotics.
Now, he is in that foster home, loved and cared for and maybe this will be his Forever one.
Attached to picture of him that make me say YES.
This This handsome boy will soon be up for adoption. He is now in a foster home and soon be neutered.
