LEWIS:
I am about 2 years old, that was
lost in Titusville. My savior called the Guardian
Angels and Mr. Luis went and picked me up, drove me to
West Palm Beach to Guardian Angels Dr. Leo and his
wife Mary,
that drove me to Mueller Clinic.
I was named Lewis after Mr.
Luis.
I am a darling and a beauty
Rottie waiting for my Forever Home.
I am neutered, got all my shots
and microchip.
I know the who ever can come and
meet me, will feel in love with me AND I CAN
PROMISE YOU THAT I WILL LOVE YOU FEREVER.

The Adventures of Bubba...
Our first day together was a "getting to know
you" period. Boundaries were tested, games were
played, and ultimately it was a great first day!
He is very intelligent, but with the soul of a puppy.
He has a few behavioral patterns that will be handled
in obedience training, but other than that he appears
to be a very warm, loving dog, who simply doesn't know
his own strength.
We did have a little mishap Saturday morning. I opened
the front door a few inches, and gazed outside for a
moment, assuming my leg would prevent him from running
out. Big mistake! He ran outside, crouched down on all
fours with a playful gleam in his eye, and as I slowly
approached with a calm, soothing voice stating,
"Bubba...get in the house..." he apparently
misunderstood this to mean "Bubba, run as fast as
you can across the golf course, and do NOT respond to
Jake's commands!"
With a treat in one hand and his leash in the other, I
proceeded to run after him, jumping a fence, and
passing some golfers who found this very amusing! I
caught up with him, and simply attached his leash,
grateful he didn't head towards the street!
Let's just say I had my exercise for the day!:) I
learned a good lesson, and was reminded of the need
for some effective obedience training and to keep an
oxygen tank standing by, just in case!
I am very happy with my new "Pretty Boy". He
has a very loving temperment, a playful soul, and his
aggression levels are on par with most Rottweilers his
age.
He interacted with my neighbor's 3 year old child, and
responded to his pets with kisses and affection. He
has also interacted with several dogs so far, and they
were all playful in nature.
He is very vocal when seeing other animals. He cries
and barks loudly, jumping up and pulling hard on the
leash. I take this to mean that he is a big puppy, and
he simply wants to play.
Barring some rough playing where he got a little bitey,
he's been very good and has listened to most of my
commands. He does tend to jump on the leather couch
and be a tad overly zealous when playing, but that's
part of being young, and the rest will be handled
through positive reinforcement and some good training
down at the Davie Rodeo Arena.
Overall, it's been a great first weekend together! My
last Rottweiler Raven acted identically to Bubba in
every way when he was young.
I'm very happy having him here, and I look forward to
many wonderful
years together with my new buddy, the oversized puppy
with a strong determination and a great big heart! :)
I'll be keeping Yolanda and Grace up to date with stories,
his progress, and photos.
Thank you again Yoly! He's in good hands and will be
spoiled, trained, and loved for a very long time. :)
