Julius, I call the GOLDEN BOY, went home today to a family in Ft. Lauderdale who had adopted a female named Sasha from GGARR six years ago and lost her recently.
Julius is the wonderful Rottie that we rescued from Orange County AC with the broken back right leg. The Tibia broken in 4 places.
Our dear GRC member and GGARR Board of Director Leslie Kovacs and her friend Tonya Williamson drove him from the Shelter to Mueller Animal Hospital in Hialeah.
Dr. Emilio Zouain was waiting for him, and performed the complicated surgery the same day.
Plates, nails on both side of his leg, a complete bed rest for about two months and the expertise of Dr. Emilio made that a very successful surgery.
I wish you all could see Julius walking and running, no one, but no one, could tell he has had that surgery.

Although they had adopted from us before, we wanted to do a home check.
Wonderful family. his Mom Denise and her Dad, saw Julius and said, YES.
