We have
a very large 11 month old male gorgoeus
purebred docked Rottweiler named Jack , He
was rescued by some very nice people shortly
after he was born, He was born in a puppy
mill in central Florida ,
JAck is
blind, since birth and the breeders were
undecided as to whether they should shoot
him or use him for breeding, Or,
leave him in an orange grove, (shows the
mentality and greed of them )
My
friends stepped in and begged for him , he
was still a small pup, only about 10 weeks
old,
He lived
with a rescuer in her home for many
months and was crated and allowed into the
yard, HE played well with her smaller dogs,
He
lived briefly with a family who lost their
home and they moved to a a small trailer
and Jack was too much for them. The small
dogs harassed him ,but he was not
aggressive.
He went back to the first foster home,
before coming here,
HE
doesn't do well in a home at first , because
he knocks things over, he can live in a
room, without delicate knick knacks , or in
a penned yard . We are afraid for him to
live alone. He is calm inside but clumsy as
you would imagine a large awkward blind pup
would be. He is over 100 lbs at just about
11 months, He has a lot of growing to do. He
is still lanky but starting to broaden,
He
lived here with us on 2 acres and he
adjusted well and quickly as he is smart and
learned the layout within days. He was
running and playing with my three legged
Dobie, but today as some dogs do,
he injured a tiny dwarf mini horse badly.
He was ,
as many dogs do, playing at first and then
sort of got carried away.
He has
never shown any aggression toward a person,
he is as loving and sweet as any Rottie can
be, but he can show a prey drive as many
dogs do. If left with small animals he is
not outwardly aggressive and lived on my
farm peacefully for months, amongst the
chicken and goats, however he did learn to
chase the mini horses with my Dobie,
He walks
along side you and is playful with other
large dogs,
He is a
large very beautiful 11 month old Rottie,
who will broaden and grow considerably , he
is tall. He was perfectly housebroken to
our home instantly.
He
cannot live with small children, he has
never. WE DO NOT RECCOMEND HIM IN A HOME
WITH SMALL CHILDREN as blind dogs especially
young ones may spook. He cannot live
with goats or chickens or other farm animals
or household pets since he injured the tiny
horse, although he never hurt one of those
here. Since he did begin chasing the
horses as a game, we do not want him with
other non canines, and feel its safest with
a large blind dog to never be alone with
small children.
He never
went after cats and lived beside many
animals till now.
He needs
a home where he is the only pet or one of a
small number of large dogs.
He is
loving and obedient, loves to play
with other dogs , to run beside other dogs.
We
cannot keep him here any longer. We simply
don't have room and do not want him isolated
in a lonely pen. He needs someone who loves
Rotties and maybe loves to jog as Jack
loves to run, and would jog for miles
happily beside his new owner ,
We are
so worried about this wonderful dog,
Please,
do you know of anyone who can take him. He
can live mostly outdoors, he is loving.
Please help us so Crash doesn't live
isolated or have to be put to sleep. If you
look at him you really can't see he is
blind........ his eyes look almost normal.
T
his
is Crash, he is 11 months. Please help
us ! He really is a wonderful beautiful
young Rottweiler, just needs to find the
right situation , he can maneuver down
stairs and learns your home quickly, he is
calm in the house, but sometimes clumsy. He
is mellow and loyal and loves his owners a
lot, please call me
