Notes: DUKE. He is an approximately 3 year old male /neutered Rottie who has recently been treated for heartworm disease. He came to us very skinny with some scars on his nose from an unknown past. He loves to lay on his back and have his belly rubbed, he also loves to cuddle and lick your hands. He is very gentle and does not jump or pull hard on the leash when walked. He likes other dogs (more so female than male dogs) as well as cats and does very well with children. He does not like abrasive people who ignore him and will bark at them. After we did his heartworm treatment he felt so bad all he wanted to do was have someone sit with him and pet him while he slept.
