GUARDIAN   ANGEL

It may sound ridiculous,  but it is right on time.
We  believe that something is  about to happen.  Angels exist, only  sometimes they  haven't got wings and we call them friends.

With his new adopted parent!

and his new sister...

Below you will read a truly heart rendering story about a dog named DOLCE.

This dog was at the Hillsborough County Animal Shelter, Tampa, FL shelter. He was found with wire wrapped around his rear leg.

The shelter had no means to help this poor dog and Debbie, the adoption coordinator contacted GGARR.

Elisa Romero, a GRC member offered to take him out (Saturday, March 31, 2012) and from there to a clinic to have his leg evaluated.

On Monday the doctor told us that Dolce's leg

had to be amputated.

Elisa was set in saving this dog and his leg was removed on Monday.

Here are his first pictures taken on Tuesday, April 2nd after surgery.

Dolce is very sweet and everyone at the clinic loves him.

From the clinic he will go to Elisa until he is ready for his own home.

On April 3rd Elisa writes...

Hello ,
I went and saw Dolce this afternoon. He is not feeling too good as to be expected but, he ate good even though he didn't appreciate the vet in house cats staring at him. LOL. But, the vet techs say he is doing good. But he does have a cold , similar to Lucy's. So on top of the surgery , he also has a cold and not feeling the greatest. But he is being well taken care of by the staff. He is getting stronger antibiotics and is able to get some rest. I'll be sending you some pics of him.
