Here is Cindy's story... Please, help.

Hi there -

My father lived in Miami and passed away at the end of January. He had a Rottweiler that is around 6 years old. Her name is Cindy. She is quite an affectionate dog and was my fathers companion (he adopted her from a shelter).

She's house trained/broken and lives indoors with a cat. She loves being outside, playing, going for long walks, and laying on her back in the grass soaking in the sunshine. She has never lived with another dog and seems to get along well and play with most dogs although there's one neighbor dog that she's hasn't been very fond of in the the past. She misses her daddy greatly and is looking for another soul mate to give her love and a good home (secretly hoping there may be a few extra table scraps someone can share with her).

She's had routine visits to the vet, is healthy and up to date with all her vaccinations, spayed, and micro chipped. The person who gives her baths at the vet describes her as a big snuggley lap dog that loves being close to people.

Unfortunately I live in Milwaukee in a condo and we are not allowed to have pets > 65 lbs. I have been flying down to take care of her when my work schedule allows and some neighbors have helped take care of her for the last few weeks but they will be moving at the end of March. I would appreciate any help that can be provided in terms of fostering or finding an adoptive home for her.
