Barney Prancer:
He showed up at a great family home on 7/14/2011, with a thick black collar and long leash hanging from it.
Initially his paws were burned, blistered, bleeding and his toenails on front paws were worn down to nothing.
He had a very difficult time walking and he still tender on his front paws.
This great family took him to their Vet. He had an Avid microchip but was never registered.
At that time he was only 84bs. not eating much. Their Vet treated him for an ear infection, there he got all his shots, tested for HW and was negative.
This wonderful family did all that because they said that Barney, that is the way they named him, has a heart of gold.
He got along with their children but, cannot keep him as they have already 3 dogs and a rabbit.
They called Yoly as they were going on vacation and had no way to board so many dogs.
They took him to Mueller and there he was neutered.
He still walks kind of funny, like a Paso Fino horse.
Our Vet thinks he probably had Distemper as a puppy and survived.
A good friend of the Guardian Angels took him to a neurologist and that was exactly his diagnose.
He acts like a real puppy, BIG puppy he is now, close to 100 lbs.
You have to come and meet this dog. You are going to love him and he needs a good home.
