Axel is about 1yr old male Rottweiler with a undocked tail. He was found at a local park in Tampa . Tied to a tree. One of our GGARR volunteers works for police dept and was on duty when someone called in bout a Rottweiler was tied up to a tree at the park. Animal Services was not going to respond. So she notified other GGARR members Uli and Dave , they raced down to the park since it was storming to see about this dog. Good Samaritans were there at the park with the dog and offered to take him home. Unfortunately , it didn't work out with them . They were allergic to the hair. So they contacted us and we offered to take him in. He is currently in a foster home, he is very playful , needs work on his leash manners and is being crate trained. You can tell this poor boy was left tied up on concrete, he has some sores on the back. But he just wants to be with you. 
He would prob be best in a home with no cats, as he wanted to chase a few at volunteers mom's house. 
But he is HW neg , UTD on his shots and is neutered.
