I was named AVERY by my first Guardian Angel. I got lost, I think for a long time and walked and walked, got tired and stopped in from a home. I heard a dog barking, "THAT IS A ROTTWEILER, I SAID"
Then, a very nice lady came to me, fed me and gave me water. She did not want to call Animal Control, because she knew in the condition I was they would put me to sleep.
Then she contacted Grace Acosta and emailed her my picture.
Pretty dog Grace had said and called our Board member Patty Fisher who lives close to that lady and asked Patty to please go and look at me to find out if I was adoptable.
Patty went with Rachel Acosta, (Grace's niece).
They loved me, but the lady told them, she could not keep me, so she took me to Mueller.
At Mueller I was spayed, fully vaccinated, checked for Heart Worms and Erlichia/Anaplasma and also microchip.
I was positive for Anaplasma and the Vet put me immediately in Doxi.
I had no hair on by back and part of my face, but scrapped was negative for mange.
It was an allergy reaction because I was packed with fleas. I got a dip for that.
In the meantime, this nice lady who named me AVERY, began to miss me and told Patty that she wanted to adopt me.
So this today, February 12, 2011, I went to my Forever Home.
Thank you Jesi for saving my life, thank you Patty and Rachel for going to meet me and thanks Grace for accepting me into The Guardian Angels Rottweiler Rescue.
Another Happy Ending on this day.
Thank you God
