Rooney's owner says...
"Rooney is the sweetest Rottweiler ever. We have had him since he was a puppy and the only reason we are looking for a new home is because of my husband's work schedule. We have a new baby, my husband travels for work and he works 80 hour work-weeks.
Rooney's only flaw is that he pulls a little on the leash and he is 135lbs. I am unable to walk him with the baby and have no one I can ask to help. I have tried hiring a dog walker but everyone says he is too big and unfortunately we can not afford a dog walker twice a day at this time.
The only interest we receive are from people who want him to be used in dog fights. He is by far a wonderful, kind dog that does not deserve anything less than the BEST. I refuse to take him to the local shelter. I am hoping to find a rescue as my last resort that can take him and help him find a great and loving home. I feel sorry for him that he does not get the care he deserves at this time from us.
He is neutered, on a good diet, he is healthy, kind, good with kids (grew up with our niece who crawls all over him) and he is gentle. He is up to date on all vaccinations."
